We are discussing if there will be a season 2 of Netflix series Kaleidoscope and its renewed or canceled status.

netflix released season 1 of his series Kaleidoscope on January 1, 2023. It was the first series released by the streaming platform that they said you could watch any of eight episodes in non-linear order, and it would connect the dots. Of course, whether they achieved that goal depends on the viewer’s experience.

Kaleidoscope follows the story of a group of individuals attempting the greatest heist of all time. With that comes the real story behind the heist, whether or not this group of people can work together and whether or not they can get the job done. The series played Giancarlo Esposito, Rufus Sewell, Jai Courtneyand Gabrielle Tati.

Throughout this journey, I have been in awe of the writer/creator that of Eric Garcia ability to put those pieces together in a way that made you invested in every aspect of the show. I loved how the characters were written, how he wrote each of their stakes, and even not being afraid of potentially killing off someone’s favorite character. Kaleidoscope is a well-structured heist that leaves you on the edge of your seat.

Will there be a season 2 of Kaleidoscope – status renewed or canceled

Currently, there has been no announcement yet on whether or not Netflix will renew the series for a second season. However, I’m sure they will look at the watch numbers and how they look in the first and second week to see if it warrants it.

Spoilers ahead

Alright, are you ready for my theory of where we could go with a second season? At the end of the season, Leo was seen going to jail to visit Roger. It felt like the end of the chess match, but Leo wanted a guarantee from Roger that he wouldn’t go anywhere near Hannah in the future. Leo knew his days were numbered (we saw that literally), but he needed that reassurance before he died. Roger said he would never sue her.

Now the big question is, do we believe it? Because Roger said he was twenty, but with good behavior he would be out in eight years. Do we really think this guy, who is a thief and a liar, among other things, isn’t going to go after the woman who stole hundreds of millions of dollars from him? I do not know. I could see two things, either the FBI is working with him to eliminate the triplets and/or Hannah, or he is going out and working alone to get his money back.

My other idea is much simpler in Netflix, letting Eric Garcia write a completely different heist story with a whole new group of people. ‘Cause honestly, I like that idea better than they own it The Ocean Trilogy or even like Knives out. Either way, we the public win in the long run. So what would you like to see if we get another season of the show? Let me know.
