Why Outer Range Season 1 Doesn’t Have Episode 9
Simply, Outdoor beach will not receive a ninth episode within the Season 1 boundary because Amazon only charged eight episodes to fill its first season.
The series was announced in February 2020 when Brad Pitt joined Josh Brolin as a producer with his company Plan B Entertainment.
All eight episodes were filmed over an eight month period in Las Vegas, New Mexico and fans will have to wait and see if Season 2 gets greenlit before seeing a sequel.

Has season 2 been greenlit?
Unfortunately, Amazon has not revealed whether Outdoor beach will return for season 2 or not.
The streaming platform will wait to see the popularity of the Season 1 finale before making any long-term decisions to continue its narrative.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Imogen Poots didn’t give fans much hope for a continuation, admitting there was no “sense of urgency to return”:
“Season 2 is up in the air. I think we did this on a whim. We all thought it was so original and we all wanted to do it.
Outdoor beach wasn’t billed as a limited series or miniseries, which means there’s room for it to continue if the cast and crew are on board.

Outer Range Season 1 Episode Guide
Outdoor beach Season 1 consists of eight episodes in its entirety, with each installment lasting between 43 and 62 minutes.
The first two episodes aired in doubles on April 15, 2022, and Amazon continued to release two episodes together each week.
