At the end of the night, however, when the two are alone together, Ethan reveals his true violent nature. Cherie runs quickly for her life, throwing a relentless game of cat and mouse as she is chased by a bloodthirsty mugger.

Run darling, run is Shana Feste’s fifth feature film. Her feature debut was the 2009 drama The best, with Pierce Brosnan, Susan Sarandon, Carey Mulligan, Aaron-Taylor Johnson, Johnny Simmons and Zoë Kravitz. The film opened to mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike and failed to break the $1 million mark at the worldwide box office with a budget of $6 million. She also directed two music videos for Gwyneth Paltrow, in 2010 and 2011.

Feast followed The best with the 2010 film country songwhich had very poor critical reception, and currently holds a 21% Rating on Rotten Tomatoes from 135 reviews. The film, which Feste wrote and directed, features Gwyneth Paltrow, Tim McGraw, Garrett Hedlund and Leighton Meesterand follows Hedlund as a rising country music songwriter who becomes embroiled in the character of Paltrow, a country music superstar currently in rehab but plotting a comeback with her manager husband, played by McGraw.

In 2014, Feste returns to the big screen with Everlasting love, the first film she directed that did not fully write. Instead, she shared credit with Joshua Safran for adapting Scott Spencer’s novel. The film was also poorly received, with a critical rating of 16% on rotten tomatoes, and a worldwide box office gross of $35 million, on a budget of $20 million. The set includes Alex Pettyfer, Gabriella Wilde, Bruce Greenwood, Joely Richardson and Robert Patrick. That year she also co-wrote the screenplay for George C. Wolfe you are not youwith Jordan Roberts – the film currently holds a 48% reviews on Rotten Tomatoes from 23 reviewsalthough it seems that the public reacted better to it, giving it a rating of 70%.

After leading Everlasting loveFeste took a four-year hiatus before take over the management functions for 2018 Borders. She also wrote this film, which features a wonderful performance by Christopher Plummer, but was not well received by critics, according to her 49% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
