Why is Norrie White important in Lockwood and Co?
Norrie White is another ghost hunter who is best friends with one of the main characters, Lucy Carlyle. When Lucy meets Norrie, the two quickly start making plans with each other. Working for Agent Jacobs, they are sent to exorcise ghosts from an abandoned factory called Wythburn Mill. Convinced that they are only a Type I ghost, the weakest type of ghost, Jacobs takes no steps to ensure their safety.
Sensing the situation was more dangerous than it initially seemed, Lucy asks to step down and reevaluate, but Jacobs refuses. Unfortunately for the team, Lucy’s senses prove to be correct and her entire team, including Norrie, are overtaken by ghosts. Norrie is immobilized and rest for the rest of the season. Lucy is the sole survivor.
Lucy visits Norrie periodically, and at the end of the first season she makes Norrie a tape of her accomplishments for her friend.

Although he is only 28 years old, Newmark has already appeared in several TV shows and movies. The biggest movie she has appeared in so far is the 2018 movie Solo: A Star Wars Story, where she played Lexi, a scrumrat in the White Worms Gang on Corellia. This was only a small role, however, as the story quickly moves away from the gang.
She has a lead role in the 2017 film Pin Cushion, where she plays the character of Iona, Lyn’s daughter, as the couple moves to a small town in the Midlands of the UK. Newmark also had a recurring role on the hit Netflix series Sex education as a lesbian with relationship issues.
