The gang’s plan to defeat Vecna
Vecna was the deadliest enemy we’ve seen in Stranger Things as he goes on a vicious killing spree in Season 4, hoping to open four doors between the Upside Down and our world. to bring about ultimate destruction.
The fearsome villain may seem indestructible at first, but the Hawkins gang manages to solve his weaknesses with his knowledge of Eleven.
Dustin discovers that when Vecna travels to our world, his body must be in a helpless, upside-down trance state, so the gang hatch a plan to attack him when he’s most vulnerable.
The plan is incredibly dangerous, however, because while Steve, Robin and Nancy venture into the Upside Down to take down Vecna, Max will have to stay in our world and serve as bait.
To give Steve, Robin, and Nancy as much time as possible to kill Vecna, Eddie and Dustin also venture into the Upside Down to distract the Demobats who serve and protect Vecna.
What song does Eddie play in Upside Down in Stranger Things?
The song Eddie plays in Upside Down is Metallica’s Master Of Puppets.
To get the Demobats’ attention, Eddie and Dustin head to the Upside Down version of Eddie’s trailer where he finds an electric guitar that he thinks is perfect for saving the world.
A fan of all things heavy metal, Eddie plays Metallica’s Master Of Puppets, bringing much-needed rock and roll to the Upside Down.
The plan succeeds as the music catches the Bats’ attention, giving Steve, Robin, and Nancy the time they need to track down and kill Vecna.
Given that Vecna has been pulling the strings for Upside Down from the very beginning, Master Of Puppets seems a very fitting song choice to signal its downfall.
