A Jazzman’s Blues sang on Netflix on Friday, September 23, 2022.
Written, directed and produced by Tyler Perry, the music-driven film tells the story of Bayou, his black sheep who enters into a whirlwind teenage romance with Leanne until she is fired after Bayou proposes marriage. .
Years later, Bayou returns from military service to find his old flame is on the arm of a man from a white political dynasty.
However, the spark between Bayou and Leanne lingers and before long their forbidden romance is rekindled.
