The Something From Tiffany Soundtrack: All the Songs for a Festive Romantic Comedy

January 25, 2023

The music for a movie or TV series can often make or break the final product, as the choice of songs or original score can add just the right feeling to each scene.

For a celebratory rom-com such as Prime Video’s latest arrival, Something From Tiffany’s, this is especially important because the film seems to strike a lighthearted and, at times, heartbreaking tone.

As such, the celebratory film is packed with music, but what songs feature on the Something From Tiffany’s soundtrack?

Release date and plot of Something From Tiffany

Something From Tiffany’s landed on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, December 9, 2022.

Starring Zoe Deutch and Kendrick Sampson, the film is set during the holiday season in New York, where a special box from Tiffany could change the course of many lives.

At the heart of the story are two couples: Rachel and Gary, who are happy enough in their relationship but aren’t quite ready to take on the bulk of the commitments. And Ethan and Vanessa, the perfect couple about to get married.

However, a simple mix of gifts causes all of their paths to cross, setting off a series of unexpected twists that set each of them on the path they are truly meant to be on.

Who composed the score?

Along with a slew of licensed party tunes, Something From Tiffany’s also features a bright, bubbly score that’s the work of songwriting duo Jay Lifton and Ryan Miller.

The duo previously worked together on the 2016 film Land Grab, but they’ve largely worked separately throughout their respective careers.

Ryan has composed music for How It Ends, The Last Summer, Age Of Summer, The Kings Of Summer, Mr Roosevelt and the 2009 movie Nobody – not to be confused with the 2021 action movie starring Bob Odenkirk.

Jay Lifton, meanwhile, has worked on films like King’s Blade, Hudson Falls, The Eastsider, Chlorine and a huge range of shorts.
