When we are first introduced to Rose Walker, it quickly becomes apparent that her younger brother is missing. Unfortunately, as Rose does everything she can to find her brother, her money runs out. And as a result, she doesn’t have the funds to pay for a private detective.
Although Rose is unaware of it, she is a dream vortex, and that very fact could help her find her missing brother. But when or even if Rose locates Jed, is he still alive? And if he is still alive, what fate awaits him?
The sand man season 1 – what fate awaits Jed?
Before long, it’s not just Rose who’s looking for Jed; Lord Morpheus and The Corinthian are also looking for him. As for Jed, he is alive! While he dreams of being a superhero, the sad reality is that he was locked in a basement by his adoptive parents. With his adoptive father threatening to beat up Jed if he complains.
After Rose learns that she is a dream vortex, she and Lord Morpheus set out to find Jed. But unfortunately for them, they are not the first to find Jed. Instead, The Corinthian is hunting him down! He brutally murders Jed’s abusive adoptive parents, then drives Jed away in a car. Once Rose learns that the adoptive parents have been murdered, The Corinthian asks Jed to call Rose and tell her where they are.
As part of the Corinthian’s plan to lure Rose to him and turn her against Lord Morpheus, he tells Rose that Jed will be at the Royal Empire Hotel in Georgia. But once there, there’s a “Cereals” convention for serial killers, and while Rose and Jed are soon reunited, a serial killer attempts to kill Jed. But The Corinthian comes to their rescue and kills the creep trying to kill Jed. (Did Corinthian deliberately lead them into the path of a serial killer so he could probably “save” them.)
After rescuing Jed, and apparently in Rose’s good book, The Corinthian tries to convince her to help him defeat Lord Morpheus; however, his plan fails and it actually leads to his own downfall. While the plan didn’t work for The Corinthian, it does work for Jed, who is able to escape his adoptive posters and reunite with his sister!
