Is The Legend of Vox Machina season 2 any good?

While the first season got off to a flying start and somehow maintained the same stellar consistency throughout its run, the second season takes a bit more of a warm-up. The action sequences are particularly dazzling this year too. The gang takes on a whole host of bad guys and fights off these foes with the usual vigor and banter you’d expect. Scanlan, once again, takes center stage. The lively gnome bard gets all the best scenes and one-liners, either tripping over magic items, commenting on the absurdity of the situation, or performing a powerful ballad now and then.

In short, the second season of The Legend of Vox Machina is just as action-packed as the first. The animation is exquisite and the gang continues to shine. Each member of the team is given time to develop, and well-placed flashbacks help to better understand this bizarre group as a whole. Things start badly, but quickly the writers and mercenaries themselves find their feet and deliver a fun and hilarious ride.
