We’ve all felt the pain of seeing a character in a movie or show we love bite the dust, deliver the unexpected, and maybe even bring the audience to tears.
When it comes to Cobra Kai, there are a handful of central characters that fans will never want to see go.
Created by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, The Karate Kid The sequel series premiered on YouTube Red in 2018, but later found a new home on Netflix.
Since then, he’s become immensely popular and with more attention than ever, we’re betting the majority think Johnny is still their favorite, even with Season 5 releasing on Friday, September 9, 2022.

Does Johnny die in Cobra Kai season 5?
No, Johnny does not die in Cobra Kai Season 5. It’s been a turbulent season for the ’80s-obsessed karate teacher, but he makes it out alive.
He is expected to reprise the role in the event of a renewal, although Netflix has yet to confirm season 6.
Although there hasn’t been an official announcement, it’s encouraging to hear that scenes for a new season have already been shot.
“There are things they wrote in Season 3 that didn’t happen until Season 4 because there was no more room in Season 3,” said Ralph Macchio (who plays Daniel LaRusso) at Comic Book.
“There are things that were in Season 5 that we know we shot that will be held back for the future if we get that green light, so there’s more to come, hopefully.”

Who dies in Cobra Kai season 5?
While this is arguably the most eventful season yet with the stakes higher than ever, no one dies in the final season.
There is a case where John Kreese fakes his own death in prison, tricking the guards into thinking he was stabbed.
However, the blood from the non-existent wound turns out to be red Jell-O and he takes the opportunity to be rushed by medics to escape from prison, meaning he will likely be on the run in Season 6. if it is renewed.

“It never left”
William previously spoke with Men’s Journal and was asked if he had any idea how Johnny would become iconic in 1984:
“I had just turned 18, I didn’t know what ‘iconic’ meant. Even though no one had ever seen the film, it was already one of the most special experiences of my life because it was my first film and I was working with the director who made Rocky, John Avildsen.
He added: “But The Karate Kid was like catching lightning in a bottle. He never disappeared.
