Sky Rojo season 3 ending explained – who survives the finale? first appeared on Ready Steady Cut.

This article contains spoilers for Sky Rojo Season 3 Episode 8, “Gold, Frankincense and Lead,” as well as an open discussion about the Sky Rojo Season 3 ending.

The end of red sky Season 3 begins with Coral breaking free so she can save the suicidal Moises from drowning, highlighting the absurdity of his suicide when he is supposed to be the one looking after her. But it’s easy to see why Moises is confused. The show hasn’t been able to decide if he’s a good guy or a bad guy for nearly three whole seasons now, and when he’s is being a good guy, it’s impossible for him to reconcile all the terrible things he’s done as a bad guy. Very confusing, and he hasn’t really been likable this season, or even in any of the others.

Sky Rojo Season 3 Episode 8 Recap

This gives Coral an opportunity. As Coral – unnecessarily naked – recovers from her ordeal, she piles up a line of crushed pills and debates down the rabbit hole again. But she hesitates, and we’ll catch up on that scene in a moment.

We cut, however, to catch up with Wendy and Greta trying to convince Diego and his sister to let them stay there, and if you want to talk about characters who are understandably confused, let’s talk about Greta. Within hours, she learns that her new girlfriend is actually a runaway, has escaped from a brothel with several million dollars stolen from a vengeful pimp, and has seen several people die. She’s now a surrogate with a baby that isn’t her own and has watched Wendy abandon her only friend in Coral, who she’s always described as family, while simultaneously trying to convince Greta that whatever interested is the family. Whore !

Seeing Wendy default to flirt mode to try and manipulate Diego reminds Greta that she doesn’t really know this person; that she has a complicated and difficult past by which she is still very defined and which, nowadays, takes hold of her by reflex. Wendy sees the mistake in her approach, and especially in leaving Coral by the side of the road, so she does the one thing a person being chased by hitmen shouldn’t do and fires a flare into the air. It’s a signal to alert Coral to her location, and she sees it well as she’s about to sniff that line, but so does Darwin and Beefcake.

The killers arrive first, and Darwin goes after Diego and his sister with a golf club. But since Wendy and Greta knew they were coming, they had time to set up a Alone at home-ambush style, dozing the men with gasoline and setting them on fire with the flares. As they burn noisily, Wendy films them moaning in agony. By the time Coral and Moises arrive, Darwin and Beefcake are both dead.

Sky Rojo Season 3 Ending Explained

That only leaves Romeo, who spent the episode hilariously repenting to a priest he actually kidnapped, forcing the girls to ask him for forgiveness as well. This crisis of conscience was caused by his near-death experiences and seeing his daughters almost get caught in the crosshairs. But he has gone too far to be redeemed, even though he believes he has made peace with his creator. When Moises, Coral, Wendy and Diego arrive and start filming the location, Romeo hides behind the girls.

There are a few loyalists in the club but most come under a hail of gunfire – there’s no particular reason Diego should be here but I knew as soon as he arrived he was far too handsome to be a minor supporting character – and the others leave on their own when Wendy shows them the video of Darwin and Beefcake brooding. Since there is no longer anyone to drive them away or punish them, why not? Why risk dying for the top coward?

Thus, Romeo is left to his fate, who must be relegated to the same reservoir he welded this guy into earlier in the season while the club burns around him. Everyone else leaves with the girls. Romeo’s remaining men presumably disperse.

Who survives in season 3 of Sky Rojo?

Since Gina died earlier in the season, only two of our main girls survive the finale – Coral and Wendy. Coral stays sober, though she bids farewell to Moises as she can never completely ignore the things he has done, and Wendy stays with Greta. Between the three women, Gina’s child, who also survives, will likely have an interesting but well-supported life.

Both Diego and his sister survive despite Darwin slamming them with a golf club. All the girls in the club survive and are transported on a bus to live a full and free life, no longer the property of a sadist.
