September 13, 2022

This article is about Netflix series Only For Love including premise, release date, cast and trailer.

Later this month, Netflix brings us a brand new series from Brazil. Only For Love is set to be an emotional musical ride with a heavy emphasis on romance and all the drama that comes with it.

Music to your ears so far? Here’s everything we know about Only For Love:

Only for the premise of love

As Netflix describes it –

“Deusa’s solo career puts her romance with Tadeu to the test. Eva wants a great artist to sing her lyrics. Soon, their musical dreams collide.

Our opinion on the principle

Only For Love doesn’t appear to be a particularly groundbreaking series. However, fans of this kind of show are absolute die-hards, so I’m sure this will be a great lesson in knowing and serving your niche. For something that seems to appeal to an adult audience, the concept feels a bit juvenile – possibly launched a few years older than Camp Rock – so it’ll be interesting to see how it presents to a wider audience.

Only For Love will have its fans, there’s no doubt about it. But, as mentioned earlier, its subject matter has a very specific appeal to a very specific demographic, so the love for the show may not be far-reaching. However, with such specificity comes huge adoration, so while he’ll likely find fewer fans, they can count on a lot more. Coming from Brazil, the social and cultural elements can add a slightly different vibe to what we’ve seen with projects of a similar nature in the past, which in itself will be a nice change. All in all, though, I wouldn’t expect the earth to break.

You can watch this series with a Netflix subscription.
