Akuma-Kun’s story aiming for Utopia on Earth, through the power of demons, is one of the oldest franchises in Japan, so it will be fun to see a new take on that premise in early 2023.

Junji Ito Maniac: Tales of the Macabre Season 1

Make My Day Season 1

Look for a February release date for this series, based on the work of Yasuo Ohtagaki. The female-run mangaka company CLAMP, behind the hit manga series Sakura card sensor, are responsible for designing the characters in the series. The limited series was always meant to branch out into other media, and this anime version will precede an eventual live-action movie.

Devil May Cry Season 1

It’s been a long time coming, with announcements of this show appearing in 2018, but it looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer for this release. The first eight anime episodes will debut on Netflix, and the team behind Castlevania produced this, so it should be in good hands.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Season 1

To be honest, we thought this franchise had already been adapted, but maybe that was wishful thinking, since the first season of this anime hasn’t arrived yet. However, it looks like sixteen episodes will be offered over two seasons and will hopefully appear on Netflix sooner rather than later.
