Netflix is associated with many things, and one of them is definitely innovation. The platform is the popular streaming option of choice for many audiences and a range of similar streamers have followed in its footsteps. Indeed, there are no signs of slowing down on the innovation front in 2023, with Kaleidoscope unveiled on Sunday, January 1, 2023.
It is the first ever show of its kind as it is designed to be viewed in any order. With audiences choosing different ways to consume the story, no two experiences are the same.
Created by Eric Garcia, the eight-part American drama stars Giancarlo Esposito as a master thief named Leo Pap, who plans to orchestrate a job that could net his crew an unfathomable $7 billion.
There’s a range of faces you’ll recognize along the way, no matter what order you take, and songs too, for that matter. Speaking of which, let’s shine the spotlight on the Kaleidoscope soundtrack.

‘Oh that’s great’
Beyond the sound of Kaleidoscope, Tati Gabrielle (who plays Hannah Kim) opened up to ScreenRant about how she felt learning about the series’ non-linear approach to storytelling:
“I was just really excited about it. As a lone audience member, I’m always excited about stories that make me think, stories that I have to do a little more to get the gratification of what this play was. So when I first heard it was non-linear, I was like, Oh, that’s awesome.
She continued, “So each person watching it is going to have a completely different experience, which I think creates space for such a great conversation around it and allows everyone to come away with a very personal experience. ”
Kaleidoscope is streaming exclusively on Netflix.
