Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous has been one of the most notable titles in Netflix’s original animated content over the past year or so.

The series returned to the streaming platform with its third season in the spring, but the series shows no signs of extinction.

Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous was officially announced in October 2021; however, few fans of the series would have been too surprised by the renewal.

Not only did Season 3 have an open ending, with “something” sneaking aboard the escape boat, but the series was easily popular enough to warrant another adventure.

Camp Cretaceous has certainly become a fan favorite over the past year and is getting impressive scores on various user review websites; 7.1 / 10 on Metacritic, 7.6 / 10 on IMDB and 90% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Camp Cretaceous showrunners Scott Kreamer and Colin Trevorrow had also expressed interest in producing more seasons. Speaking to Comicbook, the couple revealed that they “have a lot more stories to tell with these characters” and have “put things in place dating back to season 1 that we really want to pay off.”

Camp Cretaceous season 4: release date and time

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Season 4 is set to release worldwide via the Netflix streaming platform on Friday, December 3.

The fourth installment of the hit series will be available for streaming from the following international times:

  • Pacific Time: 12 p.m.
  • Eastern Time: 3:00 a.m.
  • UK time: 8:00 a.m.
  • European time: 9:00 a.m.
  • India Time: 1:30 p.m.
  • Philippine Time: 4 p.m.
  • Central Australia Time: 6:30 p.m.

Speaking on the fourth season, showrunner Scott Kreamer confirmed that fans will now travel to an island “previously unseen in Jurassic Canon” and that the Spinosaurus from the third film will return.

“We did 26 episodes of kids running away from dinosaurs in the jungle, so what can we do that still makes it feel like it’s part of the whole story, but it changes things, raise the stakes, raise the stakes threat to the kids? ”- Scott Kreamer, via Entertainment Weekly.

There have been countless Camp Cretaceous nods to the movie franchise, but Season 4 will be more tied to the upcoming Dominion movie.

Speaking to Collider, Kreamer said they knew that “we want to seed so that it can come to fruition in the Dominion. ”
