New Hindi crime drama is coming to netflix in February 2023 which takes place in an exclusive school in Delhi. The series is set to drop all of its show episodes on February 3, 2023 and is a young adult drama thriller that also examines class difference, relationships, violence and crime. However, we thought there was something familiar about it, so we took a quick look to see if the Netflix Hindi series To classify is an adaptation of the long-running Spanish series Elite.
What is Hindi serial class all about?
To classify follows the story of three students from less wealthy backgrounds, attending one of Delhi’s most exclusive schools. Once there, they discover that there are huge barriers between the wealthy students and themselves, which adds to the problems they face, and once a murder is uncovered, it seems to happen. spends more in school than preparing for exams.
With themes of class difference, relationships, and lifestyles, there’s a lot going on between the students at this elite school.
Is the Netflix series Hindi Class an adaptation of Elite?
It certainly is. Spanish series Elite is a hugely popular show after it debuted on Netflix in 2018. The first season of Elite follows three students who find themselves in an exclusive school after theirs is destroyed. There, they find a huge cultural gap between the wealthy students and themselves, and as the series develops, it delves into their relationships, lifestyles, and ultimately a murder.
The show kicked off and became incredibly popular, finding a global audience, so it wasn’t long before a second season was announced.
The series soon realized that by introducing new characters they would keep things fresh and the storytelling technique of showing things in flash-forwards would become a standard for the series. As of this writing, it looks like the series is showing no signs of slowing down and a seventh season has been greenlit, with the promise of some returning characters from previous seasons.
Watching the trailer for To classify and the official synopsis it looks like the hindi version pretty much fits the show very closely so we expect that To classify will hit many of the same rhythms as Elite does.
Are Netflix’s Class and Elite connected?
To classify is a Hindi remake of Eliteso we assume that the first season of this show will mirror the first season of the spanish show Elite. To classify will have the same premise, the same characters and the same tone as Elitewith lots of youthful energy, action and, from what we can gather, lots of heat.
The cast includes up-and-coming actor Gurfateh Pirzada who was last seen in Netflix’s Guilty, and Piyush Khati, who you’ll know from Extractionthe 2020 Chris Hemsworth vehicle.
