The live-action television series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will be available to stream online exclusively through the Amazon Prime Video platform.

The OTT streaming platform currently offers several subscription options that will each provide access to The Rings of Power upon release:

The Rings of Power episode 1: release date and time confirmed

Episodes 1 and 2 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power premiere in the United States on Thursday, September 1.

For future fans in India, this means that the first two episodes of the new series will be available for OTT streaming via Amazon Prime Video India on Friday, September 2.

As confirmed by the streaming giant, the first and second episodes will launch from 6:30 a.m. IST on Friday, September 2.

  • Pacific Time – 6:00 p.m. (September 1)
  • Eastern Time – 9 a.m. (September 2)
  • UK time – 02:00 (September 2)
  • European time – 03:00 (September 2)
