We recap the Netflix series Ginny and Georgia Season 2 Episode 10, “I Am Not Cinderella”, which will contain major spoilers and explain the ending.

It’s been an emotional roller coaster. Ginny and Georgia Season 2 pulled out all the stops, leaving the audience exhausted from all the drama. And what makes it even better is that Season 2 is off to another cliffhanger, which means we can expect more from this series. Bring it on!

Ginny and Georgia Season 2 Episode 10 Recap

The season 2 finale of Ginny and Georgia opens with Georgia tell how pain changes people. She does not want the trauma to become routine for her children.

At school, Maxine comforts Ginny on his breakup with Mark. Ginny and her friends agree that “men are stupid”.

Unexpectedly, Gil try to talk to Austin at school. Austin wants nothing to do with him. Gil tells Georgia he’ll make his life hell if he can’t see her. Flashbacks show Georgia pointing a gun at Gil, but he grabs the gun from her and says, “You’re stuck with me, G.” Scary stuff!

Maxine and Sophia catch up to Joe’s Restaurant. Sophie expresses that he missed her. She admits she was tough on her because it was hard to see her. Sophie reveals that she and Josh broke up and she hopes for a friendship with Maxine. Maxine is confused and tells him that she loves someone else.

Maxine wants to take Ginny out with her friends to help her get over her grief. She reassures Ginny that the breakup had nothing to do with her and that Marcus is having depressive episodes. She reveals that Marcus is back on drugs. Ginny didn’t know. When Ginny and Max leave, Georgia starts packing. In a flashback, Georgia steals money from Gil, which leads to Gil’s arrest.

Back in the present, Ginny is drinking with her friends. Meanwhile, Marcus finds the boys and asks if she knows where Ginny is. Hunter asks Marcus why he broke up with Ginny. He seems annoyed to have hurt her. Afterwards, Maxine brings a drunk Marcus home. Meanwhile, Ginny has a hunch, and she calls the room regarding Georgia and Paul’s wedding. She learns that it has been cancelled.

Marcus reveals to Georgia that he knows she is a murderer.

Marcus talks to Georgia on the streets. He asks about Ginny while they smoke a joint together. Georgia tells Marcus that he’s done a lot for his daughter, including making him feel safe. She’s glad he gave it to her. She thinks it’s noble that he let her go to stop hurting her. As Georgia walks away, Marcus says he won’t tell anyone his secret and pretends to cut someone’s neck. Georgia is alarmed that Marcus knows she is a murderer.

Why is Georgia telling Paul about her past?

Georgia returns home and Ginny confronts her about the annulment of the wedding. Georgia tells him they have to leave town. Ginny wants to find a way to stay and asks Georgia what she’s afraid of. Georgia becomes passionate and tells Ginny she’s a fraud, then sarcastically thanks Ginny for telling her ex-boyfriend her murderous secret. She doesn’t think loving Paul is enough and she doesn’t trust happiness.

Ginny tells Georgia to tell Paul about her past (besides the murders). She thinks her mother deserves to live here.

So Georgia sits Paul down and tells him all about her past; fraud, embezzlement, theft from her job, shoplifting, a biker gang and a private detective investigating her because of her ex-husband’s ex-wife. She then tells Paul that Gil is blackmailing her, and she describes how Austin shot Gil in the arm.

Paul is in shock and decides to leave. As he leaves, Georgia’s children sit on the stairs and watch him.

Ginny and Marcus agree to be friends (for now)

Ginny visits Marcus in his room. She tells Marcus that she understands the breakup wasn’t about her. Whether they’re together or not, Ginny tells Marcus she wants to be friends. She comforts him in bed and they start talking like “brothers”, which makes them both laugh like best friends.

How does Paul get Gil to leave Georgia?

The next day, Paul asks Georgia to meet him at the office. She can’t tell if it’s a ploy to get her to stop, but she feels she has to go.

When she arrives, there is a lawyer and a policeman. Paul asks her to sit down. Gil then walks into the office and he doesn’t know what’s going on. Paul tells Gil that what he did is harassment and that one call to his parole officer will get him back in jail. He explains that he will not receive any money from him before and after his marriage. This confirms that Paul intends to stay with Georgia.

Gil talks about fighting for custody, but Paul is already prepped with a family attorney. Paul tells him that if he wants to talk to his son-in-law or “talk to his wife”, he does it through him.

Afterwards, Paul tells Georgia that he is still mad at her, but is unable to get away from her. The couple kiss passionately, and they declare that they are a team.

Georgia comes home and she’s horny. She tells Ginny that Paul still wants to get married. Ginny tells Georgia that all she needs is a wedding venue.

Ginny and Georgia Season 2 Ending Explained

And then the wedding happens. A horse and carriage come for Ginny and Georgia. However, before marriage, Private Investigator Gabriel tells Nick the truth – that his name isn’t Jesse and he really is a private investigator. He reveals that he was hired to investigate Georgia.

Nick is confused and angry that their relationship is a lie. He asks Gabriel if he even has feelings for him. Gabriel tells Nick he needs to know everything and apologizes.

Georgia arrives at the altar and Paul is blown away by her beauty. It’s a great opportunity. Paul loves Georgia unconditionally. Ginny talks about how lucky she is because she knows what it’s like to be loved unconditionally – she gets it from her mother’s love. She believes that Georgia Miller’s love is the most powerful force.

At the wedding party, Ginny tells Georgia that she managed to secure the place for her by talking to a few people.

Why is Georgia arrested?

Meanwhile, Marcus and Joe sit in the hall, unable to watch the wedding unfold. they can’t stand seeing Ginny and Georgia. Marcus tells Joe that she likes it when Ginny is happy. Eventually, the pair work up the courage to make it to the party just in time for the first dance.

Georgia and Paul do the first dance while Joe watches. Georgia talks about how her daughter, Ginny, is better than her and that she’s the best. She explains that happiness is the scariest thing ever.

But sadly, Georgia’s happiness doesn’t last long as the twist in the Season 2 finale for Ginny and Georgia arrives, bringing a brilliant cliffhanger. Gabriel walks in with the police and Georgia is arrested for the murder of Tom Fuller. Paul assures her that he will find her a lawyer.

Looks like Georgia won’t get her happy ending after all. Austin is devastated and tells Ginny that he “didn’t tell anyone”, referring to seeing Georgia kill Cynthia’s husband.

Season 2 Episode 10 of Ginny and Georgia is the ending we all wanted, but the cliffhanger leaves more to be desired.

Hope there is one Season 3.

  • Abby and Press continue to connect but Norah finds them and stops them. Abby tells Norah that it’s been a tough year after not talking to her for most of the year. Friends embrace. Moments later, Abby hears Samantha throwing up in the bathroom. Abby decides to do the same.
