Get to know Claudia Harrison, The Crown’s new Princess Anne in Season 5

October 19, 2022

With Claudia Harrison joining The Crown as Princess Anne, the character is in good hands as the actress has been on British TV for decades.

The Crown has revamped its entire cast for the upcoming season 5, but don’t worry if you’re sad to see your favorite stars go; the royal family is passed on to several veterans.

Theater legends Imelda Staunton and Jonathan Pryce take center stage as Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip, respectively, as the hit series details the Queen’s reign in the 1990s.

Claudia Harrison will succeed Erin Doherty as Princess Anne, the monarch’s only daughter. A stellar performance from Claudia is guaranteed, thanks to her two-decade career in television, although The Crown is the actress’ biggest role to date.

Season 5 will detail the Queen’s reign in the 1990s, the same decade that saw the dissolution of Anne’s first marriage to her first husband, Mark Phillips.
