With the Burned Ones gone, Dowling “disappeared” and Silva imprisoned for treason, last year’s Alfea grew with new magic, new romances and new faces. But when fairies start disappearing in the night, Bloom and her housemates discover a dangerous menace lurking in the shadows. One they will have to stop before it wreaks havoc throughout the Otherworld.

Well, the stakes have certainly been raised after the explosive ending of season 1. If they can maintain the standards of season 1 and continue to provide audiences with compelling drama for Bloom and co, then this should be a hit.

Looks like we’re in for another season of PG-13-friendly spells, sex, and swearing! The trailer sets up the plot nicely with the new headmistress in place at Alfea and Bloom being encouraged to “no longer hold back.” It’s Hogwarts meets Twilight and it’s getting ready to make a heady brew. If they pull it off, the trailer certainly seems to live up to the fans!
