What the Cast Says
Park Eun Bin has received accolades for his other iconic role as prosecutor Woo who has autism. Speaking of the role, the actress shared in a recent interview with Allure, “I was a little scared if I could pull it off without hurting or offending anyone.” She continued, “This is my first genius-type character, and Young Woo is also on the autism spectrum. I think I thought about what is considered normal when taking on this role. What is it to be weird, what is it to be abnormal, and are normal people really normal?”
She went on to reveal, “I saw about six episodes of the edited ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’ version. It is an art. The director even said that even though it’s a drama that we shot together and he did, it’s still fun no matter how many times he watches it. Even the editor compared it to “the vaccine of the time”.
