The seriousness of her actions was revealed in the final episode of Season 1 when it became clear she had a hand in the death of her ex-husband Kenny, which sparked her family’s recent move. at Wellsbury.

Season 2 continues to shed light on her troubled past as new crimes come to light, but is Georgia ever found out and going to jail in Ginny & Georgia Season 2?

Georgia’s Crimes Catch Up With Her In Season 2

Season 2 expands on these already disturbing actions by revealing that Georgia also had a hand in the death of her first husband, a man named Anthony Green, after she accidentally administered a lethal dose of the drug that he was given. she intended to knock him out. with.

Does Georgia go to jail in Ginny & Georgia season 2?

Georgia is certainly arrested in the last episode of Ginny & Georgia season 2 but she will face a trial to find out if she will actually be sent to prison.

In the last scene of episode 10, during her wedding to Mayor Paul Randolph, Gabriel Cordova, the private investigator who was investigating Georgia’s alleged crimes, bursts in with several police officers and has her arrested but not for any of the crimes he committed. previously investigating her.

Instead, Georgia is arrested on suspicion of murdering Tom Fuller, the husband of influential Wellsbury resident Cynthia Fuller.

Throughout the season, we are regularly informed of his condition because he is seriously ill and on the verge of death and in episodes 8 and 9, we see Cynthia confide in Georgia that it has been incredibly hard to see her husband. in such a state and she also says that she wants her son, Zach, to remember his father as he was.

Believing she’s helping Cynthia and her family end their suffering and move on, Georgia secretly suffocates Tom unconscious with a pillow – but she doesn’t know Austin is actually hiding in the room as part of the a game of hide and seek. seek.

Why was Georgia arrested? [Opinion]

While we as viewers know that Georgia killed Tom Fuller, Gabriel apparently had no real evidence to prove his involvement and sanction his arrest.

However, there are several clues in the final episodes that suggest to us what could have happened.

One of the most notable is the fact that a shocked Austin says in concern, “I haven’t told anyone,” what he saw.

If so, that means Gabriel went straight to Cynthia’s house to look for clues and potentially found evidence linking her to Tom’s death, like her DNA on the pillow used to kill him.

Alternatively, Austin might be wrong not to tell anyone, as throughout the season we’ve seen he has a tendency to leak compromising information that Georgia would like to keep secret.

It’s entirely possible that Austin accidentally leaked that his mother had killed Tom to his father, Gil, when they were alone together and that Gil had told Gabriel about the murder as a way to get revenge on Georgia for having reduced his blackmail plan.

Agonizingly, fans will now have to wait for the fallout from Georgia’s arrest to become clear, but hopefully it won’t be another two years before a potential third season arrives.
