The Umbrella Academy Season 3 Filming Locations
The third season of The Umbrella Academy was shot entirely in Ontario, specifically in Hamilton and Toronto. Filming for the third season of the series began in early February 2021 and ended on August 28 of the same year. Because filming took place during the COVID-19 pandemic, there were many strict protocols in place. This meant that the days on set were shorter and the overall shooting took a lot longer. Also, filming was reportedly supposed to start a little earlier but was delayed due to the pandemic. Now let’s follow the family of superheroes and learn more about each of the filming locations that appear in Season 3!
Much of The Umbrella Academy Season 3 was filmed in Hamilton, a port city in Ontario. For the exterior of the Hargreeves house, the production team used the same building as in previous seasons. It is located at 4 King Street East in Hamilton. During the early stages of filming, in February 2021, the cast and crew were spotted filming some key sequences at the King George School on Gage Avenue in North Hamilton.

In addition, there are some new locations with the Dundas and Ossington districts that appear in the third part of the fantasy series. Also, Ottawa Street North serves as Dallas, Texas in the 1960s in some scenes. Many shop windows were set up to create a suitable backdrop for this time. The production team even used the Gage Park site for some key scenes in Season 3. It’s located at 1000 Main Street East in Hamilton.
