When and where was Love is Blind season 2 reunion filmed?

March 5, 2022

After an incredibly dramatic yet heartwarming second season, Love Is Blind wrapped up its final episode with a reunion special that truly unearthed the whole truth. From an update on the couples’ relationships to digging up old issues, from exploring every side of each story to the cast banging Shake, it had it all. So if you want to know the details of the shoot – specifically the when and where – to properly piece the new information together in your head, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

When and where was Love is Blind season 2 reunion filmed?

As expected, the Love is Blind season 2 reunion special was hosted by married couple Nick and Vanessa Lachey, with all members of the six originally engaged duos appearing as cast members. That means Danielle and Nick Thompson, Iyanna and Jarrett Jones, Natalie Lee, Deepti Vempati, Shaina Hurley, Mallory Zapata, Salvador Perez, Kyle Abrams, Abhishek Shake Chatterjee and Shayne Jansen were all in attendance. More importantly, each of them traveled from Chicago, Illinois to Los Angeles, California for the filming, as they were filmed at BLT Studios there.

As far as we know, production of the class reunion took place towards the end of February 2022, likely shortly after the show’s second season released on Netflix on February 18. We make that assumption, not only because the show’s creators know at this point how much the audience has invested, but also because this is the only time the cast members have been in Los Angeles together recently. The proof: While Deepti shared an image to Instagram titled La La Land on Feb. 21, Shaina geotagged an image with the California city on the same day, as seen above.

It’s important to note that the shocking feud between Kyle and Shake only began after filming the reunion, where the former admitted he regrets not asking Deepti for his hand. After the construction worker described the special as a train wreck in a post on Love is Blind’s official Instagram account, the vet replied: Translation: You’re a little bihh and things escalated. Kyle didn’t even respond to the comment, but that didn’t stop Shake from later accusing him of being a serial cheater, which again he flatly denied.
