Kang Ki Young, Jin Sun Kyu, and Jo Byeong Gyu are reportedly in talks to star in the upcoming The Uncanny Counter Season 2. Little details about the new season of Devil Hunters have now surfaced, and it looks like it’s going to feature some of the most popular K-actors in the business.

The coming of The Uncanny Counter season 2 has been confirmed and the people behind the series are now hard at work on the cast of the series. Along with the possible return of the original characters, will fans also see new faces?

The second season of the series will now have a new channel. From OCN she will get a new home on tvN.

Jo Byeong Gyu’s agency, HB Entertainment, is reportedly considering an offer to reprise his role as So Moon in the series. As it stands, there will be a positive result.

Alternatively, Kang Ki Young and Jin Sun Kyu’s agencies Namoo Actors and L’July Entertainment are also considering the offer. The two will play new roles in The Uncanny Counter Season 2.

According to reports, fans will see another Kang Ki Young, known for his role in the hit K-drama Lawyer Extraordinary Woo, in the second season of the mystery series. He is rumored to be the opposite of his likable character in the legal drama.

So does that mean he’ll play the antagonist in season two? In addition, there are reports that Kim Seo Jeong will return as Do Ha Na in the second season.

It is said that she too has received an offer to reprise her role in The Uncanny Counter season 2. Like Jo Byeong Gyu, her agency, Jellyfish Entertainment, is positive about the deal.

So what will happen in season two? The story of the counters who have to face evil spirits will continue. This time they will work together with international opponents from all over the world to fight against a new enemy.

The Uncanny Counter is based on the webtoon of the same name about the demon hunters called Counters. They disguise themselves as regular employees of a noodle restaurant.

But beyond this image, they hunt down demons who have come to Earth in search of eternal life. The show’s first season was a big, making history after successfully attaining the highest ratings in OCN history in 2020.

So, The Uncanny Counter Season 2 has a huge shoe to fill. There are no words yet for when the second season will be out.
