The Glory Part 2 will be out in about a month and fans are now forming their various theories about how things will end between Moon Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo) and Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon). With just eight episodes left, can Doong Eun exact the revenge she’s longed for?
The Glory Part 2 is now one of the most anticipated K-Drama series on Netflix after taking a hiatus after the release of the first episode on December 30th, leaving fans with a huge cliffhanger. Now that the streaming giant has released new trailers for the second part of the series, fans have found some clues as to how the series will end.
A YouTuber analyzed the trailers and suggested that Dong Eun will become Yeon Jin. So how could this happen?
Fire is featured throughout the drama, and it’s featured again in the trailer as well. Therefore, the netizen believed that Dong Eun would use the fire to get revenge on Yeon Jin.
Dong Eun may end up burning Yeon Jin after she said an eye for an eye tooth for a tooth while stoking the fire in The Glory Part 2 trailer. From there, Dong Eun could take over Yeon Jin’s life.
First of all, Yeon Jin and her group of thugs burned Dong Eun’s skin with a hot hair iron when they were young, leaving scars all over her body.
It is also good to know that in a narration during the game of Go, Song Hye Kyo’s character joked that you win the game by capturing areas that your opponent has carefully built up. This seems to be a reference to her planning to take possession of everything Yeon Jin owns.
Dong Eun also said that when she decided to take revenge, her dream was Yeon Jin, which is a nod to her becoming her. So there is a possibility that she will go under the knife to look like Yeon Jin and complete her revenge by taking over her life in The Glory Part 2.
Meanwhile, The Glory is another hit series by Kim Eun Sook. It follows the story of the brutal victim of school violence, DongEun. After being horribly bullied by her classmates led by Yeon Jin, she swears revenge and sets out on a quest to become Yeon Jin’s daughter’s elementary school teacher.
The trailer, released on January 23, showed some scenes from the first and second parts of Dong Eun writing a letter to Yeon Jin. A montage of sequences was then shown, from Dong Eun yelling stop laughing like that to Joo Yeo Jeong (Lee Do Hung) being restrained by a group of men.
Ha Do Yeong (Jung Sung II) is also angry with Yeon Jin, and Kang Hyeon Name (Yeom Hye Ran) is locked up in prison. The preview ends with Dong Eun saying the name of Yeon Jin, whom she plans to kill, and stating that this will be her last letter to her.
The Glory Part 2 will be released on March 10th.
