Station 19 Season 5 Episode 7 Recap
In episode 7 of season 5, titled A House Is No Home, Dean’s parents, Ifeya Miller and Bill Miller refuse to accept Dean’s decision to appoint Ben and Miranda as Pru’s guardians. Ben claims Ifeya and Bill never paid attention to their son’s wishes and now he wants Miranda’s help to change the situation. Ifeya disapproves of Ben and Dean’s job as firefighters because of the risks involved.
In the meantime, Carina DeLuca and Maya Bishop look forward to welcoming a third member to their family. Andy Herrera isn’t thrilled that Robert Sullivan is filling in for a missing firefighter on Ward 23.
Robert advises her to be transferred to station 19, but she doesn’t want to. At the scene of the fire, Maddox behaves outrageously, which annoys Andy. She wanted everyone to evacuate the building right now, but Maddox defies her instructions, which is why he is demoted to a desk job. Andy eventually tells Sullivan that she slept with Captain Beckett.
