Snowdrop’s new visual suggests a dark storyline with Jung Hae-In and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo’s Dark Images

November 30, 2021

JTBC has released new footage of Snowdrop featuring the main characters Jung Hae-in and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo. Compared to other images, this one has a darker tone that suggests a dark storyline.

The two new Snowdrop posters focus on the characters of Jung Hae-in as Lim Su-ho and Jisoo as Eun Young-ro, according to AllKpop. The actor looks mysterious with his sad expression, while the BLACKPINK member looks determined with her gaze.

The pair of screens are behind broken glass, which makes them look even more eerie. The images officially introduce the two stars as the main characters in the series.

The text at the bottom of Jung Hae-in’s picture says that he is the man who trusts her with his fate and that he is Su-ho, as Soompi noted. Alternatively, Young-ro proves she’s not afraid of anything by looking straight into the camera despite the sad look.

The caption on her poster says that she is the woman who directs her love towards him and gives her name. Where does the relationship between the two of them lead in Snowdrop?

The K-Drama production team revealed that Jung Hae-in and Jisoo perfectly displayed the right expression and atmosphere during the photo shoot for the series’ key frames. Despite the short span of time, they were both very in sync with their characters.

With these words, they invited everyone to follow the fate of Su-ho and Young-ro after a mysterious incident brought them together. After their instant connection, fans should see what decisions they had to make from now on.

In the meantime, it cannot be denied that both Jung Hae-in and Jisoo are excited about their new TV project. Thankfully, the other BLACKPINK members have vowed to support them and see the show as soon as it appears on screen.

Lisa, Jennie and Rose even cheered her on when she was on set to make the show. The 26-year-old singer revealed that her support gave her strength, which made her work even harder.

Who would Jisoo watch the Snowdrop premiere with? She said that she doesn’t dare to look with anyone, so she would do it alone at home, although she might look with her hands on her face and through the gaps of her fingers.

Set in Seoul in 1987, Snowdrop tells the story of a young man who stumbled into a girls’ dormitory, covered in blood and injured. A woman finds him and unceremoniously decides to hide him from the danger to which he is exposed at the time.

From here on, their lives are intertwined as they both discover the mystery and love that bind them together. Snowdrop will air December 18 at 10:30 p.m. KST on JTBC.
