Royal pundits are now commenting on Prince Harry’s memoir Spare, seeing it filled with resentment, bitterness and anger

October 28, 2022

After the release of the official title Spare and the release date of Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir, experts from the royal family are now also commenting on it. The Duke of Sussex has once again caught everyone’s attention after dropping his book’s title, which refers to the phrase the heir and the spare.

Allegedly, the palace now fears what spare means, because the very title seems to allude to his life as a substitute for the royal family. That being said, royal experts believe Meghan Markle’s husband is filled with resentment, let alone bitter and angry.

According to the book’s publisher, Penguin Random House, the memoir will describe the prince’s journey from trauma to healing with raw, unabashed honesty. It will contain a wealth of insight, disclosure, self-examination, and hard-won wisdom about love’s outer power over grief.

In the cover photo, the Duke can be seen looking directly at the camera. Though he shows no emotion, royal commentator Angela Levin sees he is filled with resentment.

She also calls the book’s title desperately sad, as it’s probably what he still thinks of himself after all the therapy he’s been through and having a wife who adores him and the freedom after which he has longed for.

The author also sees Prince Harry’s revenge in the book as the hatred seems to show in his eyes on the cover. Alternatively, it’s feared Spare will also contain some attacks and allegations against the royal family, sparked by the Sussexes’ bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.

Royalty enthusiast Nile Gardiner suspects the book could do great harm to the royal family. He even likens the forthcoming release to a grenade about to be thrown into the palace.

The foreign policy expert reckons the memoir will be angry and bitter and cause great harm to the company. Based on the title and cover, the tone strikes him as somber – far from hopeful and aspiring.

He goes on to say that Prince Harry’s book will be full of anger as the title alone looks like a reflection of anger and sends a massive negative signal. That being said, Buckingham Palace is probably nervous about the content now.

However, any attacks Prince Harry utters against the royals will be very damaging to the monarchy and have a disastrous effect on his and Meghan Markle’s position in the royal family. If true, they could lose their royal titles. Spare will be released on January 10th.
