Katie Nicholl, who wrote the book The New Royals: Queen Elizabeth’s Legacy and the Future of the Crown, revealed the Prince of Wales wasn’t ready to forget the past. When the Duke of Sussex decided to step down as senior king and leave the monarchy, his brother was reportedly deeply hurt.

But Nicholl believes there is still hope for a reconciliation. According to reports, King Charles III. end the royal family feud by trying to work things out. He knows this will strain his reign and doesn’t want this misunderstanding to perpetuate the royal family.
