Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could make their long-awaited comeback in the UK when Prince Charles becomes king. Aside from possibly attending the Prince of Wales’s coronation, the Sussexes could start working as part-time royals.
Royal author Tom Quinn claims Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could return to royal life. Would this happen two years after she left the monarchy?
Quinn told the To Di for Daily podcast via Express that the controversial royals could be aiming for a royal return. An insider is said to have told him that if Prince Charles becomes king, they may well be able to.
This could pave the way for them to make a comeback in the UK and work as the part-time royals they really wanted to be. And how would that work?
Quinn explained they could work as senior royals for six months while returning to the US for the rest of the year to do their own thing. Allegedly, Queen Elizabeth II has not agreed to this date, so Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may hope that the heir to the throne will allow them to do so.
After all, he’s the father of the Duke of Sussex and perhaps a little more modern than Her Majesty. Quinn added that Archie and Lilibet’s parents may not want to spend their entire lives in the US and be strangers to the royal family.
They just don’t want to do it all the time, he said. Quinn also addressed Prince Harry’s memoir, claiming the royal family member had no intention of ruining the institution’s reputation.
If there’s one thing he wants, it’s to find his role within the company. Meanwhile, there are rumors that Prince Charles wants his second child and his wife to attend his coronation when he finally ascends the throne.
Royal commentator Christine Ross told the podcast Royally Us, as reported by The News, that the future king could create a place for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to return to the UK even after they have stepped down from royal duties.
Ross claimed Prince Charles wanted the entire royal family to be present at this historic event. So he’s willing to put his feelings aside to have his son, daughter-in-law and probably his two grandchildren with him on his big day.
At this historic event, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince George will be in the front row along with their families. Ross added that the second in line to the throne might want a larger family photo with all members of the royal family, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would be one of them.
