Overlord Season 4 Updates: Overlord, after all the drama in and out of its plot, can finally be seen returning for season 4 this year.

Overlord is a series of Japanese novels written by Kugane Maruyama that was listed in 2010 before being acquired by Enterbrain. So far 14 volumes of the same series have been released, but the author has stated that there will be a total of 17 volumes in the entire series.

The manga began publication in Kadokawa Shoten’s manga magazine Comp Ace in November 2014. The plot is set in the year 2126. There is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game diving (MMORPG), which is called YGGDRASIL. As in the future, it has its own unique characteristics and in it, players can interact with the game in a more intimate way.

The game has been in business for about 12 years and is about to go out of business. It had a total of 41 members, of whom 37 had left the game and only four remained.

Just before the game stops, he invites the other three players to meet up, but only one comes along and decides to stay until everyone arrives or the game stops. He ends up facing revelations that the game is not stopping and that he has been stuck in the game interface; and from there the series continues to unravel and catch the characters.

As of season 3, the series has covered almost half of its novel, confirming that there will be more; Also, the season 3 finale was a suspense and season 4 had to go back and fix that. Following the chronological order and model of the series, it can be predicted that Season 4 will cover volumes 10, 11 and 12 of the series.

A date for the series premiere has not yet been confirmed, due to the current pandemic situation, but a premiere is sure on the way.

As the series has been off the air for over a year now, we may get to see some trailers for the series in the future, hopefully.
