OPPO is set to launch a highly anticipated product this month: the brand’s first mobile phone with a foldable screen, codenamed Peacock.
Today, new reports claim that the alleged Oppo Peacock foldable phone will come with its proprietary Image Signal Processing chipset. The new image processor from Oppo is said to use a self-developed IMX766 sensor with 50 million pixels. The result should be a real eye-catcher.
This morning the famous blogger @WHYLAB posted that OPPO has a new phone that has been certified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the model is called PEUM00, he said this could be the previously rumored flip phone.
It is reported that OPPO previously showed a concept device with a foldable screen. This time around, OPPO’s new foldable screen is the first mass-produced commercial model with a foldable screen. It is expected to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 or Snapdragon 888 Plus flagship processor.
According to reports, OPPO could name the first foldable screen Find N and will use an in-fold system. The internal main screen has a high display quality and will support a 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
At the same time, the Find N can also use LTPO screen technology, which enables adaptive adjustment of the refresh rate from 1-120 Hz, which can be switched depending on the usage scenario, taking into account the requirements for a high refresh rate and low power consumption.
When the screen is flipped open to take photos, OPPO’s new folding screen machine also has a small on-screen preview, and the logo is similar to the 11 U.
