One Punch Man Chapter 178 release date, spoilers: Tatsumaki, Saitama’s battle may include more characters, city-wide battle

January 23, 2023

Yusuke Murata has finally confirmed the One Punch Man Chapter 178 release date. As it stands, the manga will continue to come out every two weeks, and fans will see the fight between Tatsumaki and Saitama this time.

Murata released new chapters in Tonari no Young Jump every two weeks. In Chapter 178 of One Punch Man, Saitama and Tatsumaki face off, finally adapting their encounter in the original webcomic.

The manga shows Saitama stopping Tatsumaki so that the S-class hero can launch the attack on the A-class hero. Other characters will also be featured in the new chapter as the battle between the two is expected to take place across the city.

Elsewhere, Fubuki may finally be listening to her sister and leaving the Blizzard group, and fans will have to wait and see what happens from here.

In the webcomic, Saitama and Tatsumaki faced off in a city-wide battle that resulted in parts of the Heroes’ Association headquarters being destroyed. They will continue to barb at each other as well, and Tatsumaki will eventually poke Saitama with her telekinesis ability and take him to another city.

However, there are theories that One Punch Man Chapter 178 could change its route and their fight could even be canceled at the end. However, some are hoping that won’t be the case and the new chapter sticks to the source material.

In the original webcomic, the new chapter will feature a series of adversaries, and Saitama and Tatsumaki’s battle will end with them defeating a criminal gang in N-City and a Dragon Level monster in H-City.

The metal bat will then slay the monster itself after being dispatched for the same. Speed-o’-Sound Sonic can also be seen after spotting Saitama and about to fight him.

Elsewhere, Tatsumaki still has wounds on her body from her previous fights. This can mean that she tires easily and reopens her wounds when facing Saitama.

In the webcomic, she forces herself to end the fight by throwing Saitama into an abyss she created and resealed. Therefore, this scene can also be seen in One Punch Man Chapter 178.

Also, the original source shows Fubuki trying to follow Tatsumaki’s advice and disbanding the Blizzard group. Fubuki strives for greater heights and tries to keep up with Tatsumaki, which could put the members in danger.

The Blizzard group is known for being loyal to Fubuki. So you could refuse to leave her and even convince her. We’ll see how it goes when One Punch Man Chapter 178 comes out on Monday, January 23rd.
