December 25, 2022

Inspired by Kouhei Hirokoshi’s popular manga series of the same name, My Hero Academia is an action superhero anime produced by Studio Bones. The series follows a powerless teenager named Izuku Midoriya who is born into a world where 80% of the population has a special ability. His journey from bullied kid to world’s greatest hero has amassed a massive global fan base that’s growing more influential every year.

First released on April 3, 2016, the anime has been praised by critics and viewers alike for its action-packed fight scenes and compelling storytelling. So it’s not surprising that the series grabbed a lot of headlines as My Hero Academia Season 6 Part 1 ended on December 24th, 2022. Fans are excited to see when the next episode of the sixth season will be released. If you are also curious, we have an overview for you.

My Hero Academia Season 6 Part 2 Release Date

‘My Hero Academia’ Season 6 Part 2 (or Cour 2) will be available to watch on ytv and NTV from January 7th, 2023. The announcement was made on the official website of the popular Shounen series well before the release of My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 13, which marks the conclusion of Cour 1. Part 2 or Cour 2 of the series will have 12 episodes, meaning Season 6 will end sometime in March 2023.

Both the voice actors and the other employees will resume their roles in the second part. My Hero Academia season 6 is adapted to volume 33 of Kouhei Horikoshi’s manga series of the same name, which has 36 volumes so far. So when the last episode is completed, fans can assume that there will be more than enough material for another and most likely the final season of the series.

My Hero Academia Season 6 Part 2 Plot: What will it be about?

In Season 6 Episode 13, the heroes try their best to take down the league of villains who seem to be up to something evil. The best Jeanist begins to pincer the villains with the help of his Fiber Master Quirk, but Mr. Compress subjects his body to immense pain to free himself. The villain then manages to free his companions as well, but before he can reveal his final mysterious move, Mirio attacks and knocks him out. But as Lemillion closes in on Shigaraki, All for One takes control of his mind and unleashes a dangerous wave of attacks that throws the young hero back.

Lemillion attempts to use the permeance quirk to re-approach the villain, but an unpredictable attack injures him. Shoto and Ingenium try the same thing, but they meet the same fate as Lemillion. When it looks like no one can stop Shigaraki, Izuku uses the blackwhip quirk to move despite his severe injuries and closes in on the villain to stop him once and for all. However, he is too weak to do anything and is easily overpowered by Shigaraki’s (controlled by All for One) attack.

In Season 6 Part 2, the society of heroes begins to crumble under the effects of the current war. Shoto will swear to stop Toya from hurting more people. Izuku’s injuries leave him in a comatose state and he is hospitalized to recover. Meanwhile, he continues to be confused by the mysteries of the All for One Quirk and learns some uncomfortable truths. Despite Tomura’s crimes, Izuku will eventually begin to empathize with his pain and resolve to save him.
