SportsKeeda noted that the panel showing the future may have sprung from his imagination during Endeavor’s inner monologue. The rough translation is that he hopes at least one of his children will become the hero he wanted to be, and then the panel focuses on his youngest son, Shoto.
From there, the backs of future Pro Heroes, Uravity, Froppy, Deku, Ingenium, Creati, Dynamight, and Red Riot are shown walking towards the light. But only Deku and Bakugo look back at Shoto as they wait for him to catch up with them.
The future Shoto looks taller and broader. His hair is much shorter, but his costume has remained the same. He now has larger canisters and a temperature controller.
Bakugo’s costume remains the same, however his grenade launcher looks like that of the second OFA user in My Hero Academia Chapter 357. He also has two short braids that look like a bomb detonator.
Also, Deku looks the same, only he wears a cape like Nana Shimura and Gran Torino. Kirishima dons a long sports jacket and mask while Creati and Ingenium remain the same.
This realization seems to herald the end of Endeavor’s heroic career, if not his life. It seems to be his wish for the future and his hopes for his son. Whatever the case, it also seems to show what Horikoshi wants for the future of the manga and its characters.
Meanwhile, in My Hero Academia Chapter 356, AFO set rhetorical traps that, according to EpicDope, inevitably led to Endeavor’s downfall. However, the Falcons were able to prevent Endeavor from suffering a more serious injury at the hands of Jiro and Tokoyami, who were labeled extras by AFO.
Part of AFO’s mask had been removed during the fight in the previous battle thanks to Jiro and Tokoyami. They managed to do this even without the help of the legendary hero.
How will it go on? Find out when My Hero Academia Chapter 357 releases on Sunday June 26th.
