The laptop, which won the CES 2022 Innovation Award, is in the starting blocks: LG unveils its first gaming notebook, the UltraGear 17G90Q, with a slim design and strong specifications.
LG recently introduced its TV and car display products. Now the company plans to shift its focus and introduce its first UltraGear gaming notebook.
LG won the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2022 award for the slim and portable design of its laptop. The gaming laptop will weigh 2.64 kg and will be an ultra-thin model.
The company equipped the laptop with a 93-watt-hour battery and a 17.3-inch screen. LG has managed to deliver such a large screen and such a powerful battery, a gift from technology on their part.

LG UltraGear 17G90Q comes with 17.3 inch screen and have IPS LCD panel that will support 300 Hz refresh rate for heavy gaming with 1ms response time.
With an aspect ratio of 16: 9 and a screen resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, LG has planned support of 99% sRGB. The keyboard lighting will give users a different experience as they can assign different colors to the respective keys.
For the connections, LG has provided two Thunderbolt 4-supported USB-C ports and two USB-A ports. A DC-in connection, an HDMI connection, an RJ45 connection and a 4-pin headset socket are also available.
A 2-way speaker system that supports DTS: X Ultra Audio is also available, as is an FHD front camera, a dual microphone setup and a power button with a fingerprint sensor.

A WiFi 6E capable Intel Killer Wireless System for a smooth online gaming experience. LG has equipped the notebook with the latest 11th Gen Intel Core Tiger Lake H-Series processor.
To ensure high performance, the CPU is paired together with the Nvidia RTX 3080 Max-Q GPU for heavy graphics-intensive tasks on the laptop. The UltraGear laptop has 32 GB DDR4 RAM with M.2 dual SSD setup, which is expandable up to 1 TB.
LG has not yet revealed the price of the laptop. As for sales, LG plans to initially launch the device in the US and South Korea. After that, the company will expand sales on a global basis.
