Even when Ichika asks him to go to the museum with her, he refuses, saying that he will be busy on those days. Later, Ryou talks about it in a conversation with Masuda, who reprimands him by saying that it is incredibly unfair of him to run away like this after everything he has done to Ichika. One day, Ichika sees Ryou on the subway and tries to catch up with him. She finally screams and manages to get his attention. Ryou prevents him from falling down the stairs, as he had done several months ago. They both confess their love for each other. Ryou kisses Ichika and promises to wait until she is an adult.

Koi to Yobu ni wa ”could release original video animations or OVAs in the future that could illustrate the manga chapters that the anime might have skipped or show the relationship between Ryou and adult Ichika.
