In episode 5, Ichika goes on a school trip to Okinawa. She and Rio discover that Masuda is also part of the journey as a photographer. At work, Ryou accidentally runs into Arie Matsushima, a co-worker, and discovers that she likes “Forward World,” especially Toho’s character. The interaction leaves Arie pleasantly surprised, as she never imagined that someone like Ryou could like ‘Forward World’.

Meanwhile, Ichiki distances himself from his friends while visiting a public aquarium and meeting Tamaru. Despite what she said in Rio, Tamaru is clearly interested in her. After listening to a phone conversation between Ichiki and Ryou, he asks her to go on a pilgrimage with him. He takes her to the location of the movie “Forward World.”

After returning home, Ichika finds Ryou at a mall to give him the gift she gave him. They’re watching a remake of “Casablanca.” When the final scene of the movie appears on screen, Ryou imagines himself as Rick, Ichika as Ilsa, and Tamaru as Victor. As Ryou suddenly becomes pensive, Ichika observes that he has never seen this side of him before. Episode 6 could focus on Ryou’s insecurity towards Tamaru. Rio may have already told him that Ichika and Tamaru spent a day together, and Masuda probably confirmed it. Ryou and Arie could start talking about “Forward World” on a regular basis.
