In the documents that Page Six it has been revealed that the reality star and her ex-husband will have joint custody with equal access to their children. The famous rapper would also have to pay the Kardashians star $200,000 a month in child support and pay 50 percent of the children’s education and safety costs. According to the agreement, should the ex-couple have a dispute about one of the children, they must participate in the mediation.

However, if one party does not participate in mediation, the other party has the right to decide. As for property, it is divided according to the marriage contract. Kardashian and West have both waived spousal support.

The couple’s divorce came more than a year after the media personality filed for divorce in 2021. The two have been together since 2012 and officially married in May 2014.

Their marriage has always been overshadowed by divorce rumors, but things got even worse when West began his public outburst in 2020. Back then, he launched a controversial presidential candidacy in the US and revealed personal details about his family and marriage through campaign trails and Twitter posts.

In a rare public statement, Kardashian then addressed his diagnosis of bipolar disorder so everyone could understand his breakdown. She even asked for her fans’ sympathy, admitting that they were going through a complicated and painful situation at the time.

In February 2021, she filed for divorce, ending their seven-year marriage. In December, she petitioned to be singled out, asking to have custody and property issues separated from her marital status and to be able to use her maiden name, Kardashian again.

West previously challenged Kardashian’s request to be single again, but eventually released a statement saying he asked his team to expedite the dissolution of his marriage so he could focus fully on their children can concentrate.
