ICarly Reboot Episode 6 Summary

In the sixth episode titled “I’m Cursed,” Carly’s friends book a trip to Snoqualmie Falls for her birthday, the only day of the year when people who hang out with her have bad experiences. Carly obviously hates her birthday, and each year as it gets closer, her anxieties begin to consume her. So she decides not to make the trip, but changes her mind when the principal of her old high school visits her and leaves two letters for Carly and Freddie.

The reason for these letters dates back to when they were involved in a letter writing project. Freddie now wants to experience all the things he missed when he was in high school. For her part, Carly is more concerned about her sanity, especially her inability to turn the page on bad experiences related to the curse that never seems to leave her. Elsewhere, Harper meets a stylist photographer named Alexavier, who attracts her.

Spencer suggests having a surprise party for Carly in order to break the curse, and Harper accepts without batting an eyelid. He can’t wait to invite Alexavier to the party and make a connection with him. When D-Day finally arrives, Spencer hires a psychic to alter Carly’s readings and make it appear that she is free of the curse. However, as soon as he finishes revealing his fortune to him, the man finally dies, proving that the curse still exists. Freddie wraps his neck in a cast after a skating injury.
