Hyun Bin, Son Ye Jin Wedding: Soloist Paul Kim reveals why he wanted to sing for the Crash Landing On You stars’ wedding

June 20, 2022

It has been three months since Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin tied the knot in what has been dubbed the marriage of the century. As everyone talks about the wedding, soloist Paul Kim reminisces about the experience of singing for the couple.

Paul Kim sang his hit song Every Day, Every Moment at Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin’s wedding. Although he rarely sings at weddings, he revealed why he did it this time, and many found his reasoning very understandable.

In his appearances on JTBC’s Magic 2022 and MBC’s 2PM Date, the 34-year-old star opened up about this once-in-a-lifetime experience, how Koreaboo reported. He revealed that he would normally turn down invitations to sing at a wedding as it makes him extremely nervous.

However, there are exceptions. He tends to do it when he’s very close to the couple who’s getting married, as the song has to come from the bottom of his heart because he doesn’t want to screw it up.

But when Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin approached him, he quickly accepted, not wanting to pass up the opportunity. He later clarified that he had no prior association with either the bride or the groom.

I didn’t think twice, he said. I really wanted to go.

He explained that he agreed without hesitation because he wanted to see the celebrities. Though he was nervous about singing in front of the pair and their VIP guests, he said he couldn’t have been more excited to sing at their ceremony.

In addition to singing for the event, he wanted to be there and watch the two exchange vows. It was an honour, he continued. He said having famous actors and directors in the front row made his performance even more nerve-wracking.

The whole thing felt surreal, like he was watching a movie. Still, he couldn’t believe that he should sing there. After the episodes aired, netizens couldn’t help but laugh and identify with Paul Kim’s revelations.

Meanwhile, Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin got married in March. After that, they traveled to the United States to spend their honeymoon, and a few weeks after returning to South Korea, there were rumors that the Thirty-Nine star was already pregnant, eh IndiaToday reported.

The rumors began when the actress posted pictures of herself to Instagram wearing a floaty white dress. Since her dress was loose, it was quickly assumed that she was hiding a baby bump. However, Son Ye Jin’s agency was quick to deny these claims.
