Here’s the big reason BTS will choose ‘Extended Vacation’

December 6, 2021

Big Hit Music is making an important announcement through BTS on Monday, December 6th. The entertainment company announced that Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook will be taking a longer hiatus this time around.

BTS recently completed their Permission To Dance On Stage concert series in Los Angeles. Now that some of them are back in South Korea, they are ready to take some much-needed time off and it will be an extended vacation.

Why is that? According to Soompi, this time the boys will be spending the holidays with their respective families. In fact, it would be the first time they’d do that since they debuted in 2013.

And not only that. They would also be preparing for their upcoming four day concert in Seoul in 2022 and a new album that would mark the beginning of a new chapter.

This would be the second time BTS would take a break, after the first in 2019. The break would officially begin after the completion of the 2021 Jingle Ball Tour.

Bit Hit stated that in 2020 and 2021, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the guys stayed active to keep in touch with their fans. Fortunately, it showed amazing results and helped them establish themselves as top global artists.

The break should give them the opportunity to find inspiration again and recharge their batteries after having worked tirelessly on various activities. Big Hit therefore asks the fans to be considerate, because their favorite K-Pop idols have to enjoy their normal and free everyday life just as much as others do.

This time they would only focus on themselves, if only for a short time. BTS would also focus on the preparations for their upcoming concert and the release of their new album.

The agency thanked everyone who kept cheering for Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook. When the break ended, Big Hit promised that they would return in their best, healthiest form to see and meet their fans in person again.

Meanwhile, Jin, Jimin and Jungkook are back in South Korea after finishing the final section of Permission To Dance On Stage in LA, AllKpop reports. The three were seen at Incheon International Airport on December 6th.

They have all returned from LA and will be self-quarantined in their respective homes for 10 days under the government’s new COVID-19 guidelines. Alternatively, RM, Suga, V, and J-Hope reportedly stayed in the United States.
