Episode 9 of season 4 of ‘Good Girls’ is titled ‘Chef Boyardee’. The history of the conflicts between Stan and Beth, that little by little went from being bad to ugly, seems to follow the same trajectory in this episode. Although he hates her, Stan knows that Beth is smart and has a strange style to get out of difficult situations. So when she asks him and Ruby for information about the fake bags, the duo can’t imagine not carrying her with them.
Although her mission is about to fail when an undercover cop is able to find out what’s going on, Beth turns out to be too resourceful for the ignorant guy and effectively silences him. Unsurprisingly, he cleverly manages to make a sale at the party, which Stan does not like, who clearly looks annoyed. He doesn’t even stop and a little altercation begins which, thankfully, is interrupted shortly after. Meanwhile, Annie is concerned about Ben’s education and desperately needs a loan. Kevin surprisingly comes to his aid and agrees to take out a loan and take care of all the paperwork.
