
The hype surrounding the official comeback of Girls’ Generation in August is huge. While little teasers pop up here and there, Tiffany Young adds to the excitement by sharing an Instagram Story from a studio on Tuesday, June 28th.
Tiffany Young seems to be implying that Girls’ Generation are currently working on their comeback album. She even asks fans to wait a little longer for the long-awaited return.
Just wait a little longer, she captioned her snap. The 32-year-old idol was seen wearing headphones and in front of a microphone.
Although it was not known how many likes and comments the picture received, it certainly had many of her 12.2 million followers reacting to it. The girls are known to be making a comeback this August to celebrate their 15th debut anniversary.
Noisy AllKpop they are also filming their new variety show as part of their return. In fact, they recently released a new teaser for the upcoming series Soshi Tamtam.
Girls’ Generation members Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona and Seohyun show off their bubbly pictures in a cute animated pink house. They all live together in a doll-like house with a fun, retro vibe.
The show will premiere on July 5 at 9 p.m. and will follow the girls as they try out different types of variety shows that are popular today.
The group of eight officially announced in May that they would be performing as a full group for the first time in five years. Alongside a new album, they would also be celebrating their 15th anniversary with multiple appearances on TV shows and reality programs to promote their upcoming release, according to NME.
Long before they confirmed their comeback, Tiffany Young had teased the return of the GENIE hitmakers. In an interview with Elle Korea, she was even asked if the band had any plans to celebrate their upcoming anniversary.
Though she said she needed confirmation before she could say anything, she revealed they had something planned. That should be enough, right? she asked. Yes, we have plans!
Alternatively, Taeyeon told a fan during an online fan signing event for her solo album INVU in March that she believes Girls’ Generation could make their long-awaited return this year.
The girls celebrated their first reunion as a full group on a 14th anniversary episode of You Quiz on the Block in September 2021. Now fans will see the full members of Girls’ Generation again in August.
