Evil season 2 episode 2 recap

The second episode of season 2 of “Evil” revolves around Raymond Strand, a worker suspected of being linked to an angel, a rarity in this dark world full of evil spirits. Unlike the positivity generally associated with angels, Raymond’s case is more of a spiritual confrontation meant to get him back on the right track. Ashley, his pregnant wife, reveals that her husband spends hours obsessively painting Archangel Michael, the spirit that is presumably in contact with him.

Raymond was told that he must give all his earthly possessions to the poor and dedicate his life to charity. However, she is about to donate her home to the underprivileged without worrying about the future of her unborn child. Things get even worse when Raymond stops his car on the road and rushes to save a family trapped in a burning car. But he waited a full minute before rescuing the man whose life was slowly being extinguished in those fierce flames. When asked, he reveals that the man had allegedly abused his wife, and that is why God wanted him to suffer without limits.

Later, it is speculated that Raymond’s delusions may have been caused by an overdose of scopolamine, a patch used to combat vertigo. Elsewhere, a new detective has taken over the investigation into the murder of Orson LeRoux, and Mira has resigned. Kristen learns of the situation from LeRoux’s wife, who has been exonerated, much to Kristen’s relief. However, at one point, he does not toast his blanket in front of Ben and David when they discuss the moral implications of a murder. Ben thinks something is wrong with her.
