On November 11, 2020, Netflix announced the renewal of Emily in Paris for a second season. Production of Season 2 began on May 3, 2021, lasted three months, and ended on August 4, 2021. As for Season 2, we’ve got some exciting news! Emily returns to bewitch us soon as the second season of Emily in Paris will air on Netflix on December 22, 2021 at 3 a.m. Like the first season, the second season will also have ten episodes.

Emily in Paris Season 2 Cast: Who’s in it?

In the second season of Emily in Paris, the main characters return, including Lily Collins (Emily Cooper), Ashley Park (Mindy Chen), Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie), Samuel Arnold (Julien), Bruno Gouery (Luc) and Camille Razat (Camille). William Abadie (Antoine Lambert), who starred in a recurring role in season 1, is promoted to main cast in season two. Jean-Christophe Bouvet (Pierre Cadault) and Charles Martins (Mathieu Cadault) could also return.

Season 2 will see some new faces as new characters are introduced. Lucien Laviscount (Scream Queens) has joined the Season 2 cast as Emily’s new romantic interest Alfie, who is a charming Londoner who lives in Paris. Lucien will be seen in a recurring role. Jeremy O. Harris and Arnaud Binard are also part of the party and play the well-known fashion designer Gregory Elliott Dupree and the lively nightclub owner Laurent G. from Saint Tropez.

Emily in Paris Season 2 Plot: What Can It Be?

Season 1 explores the cultural conflict Emily faces when she arrives in Paris for her new job. In her own charming way, she makes friends and indulges in a romance while continuing to grapple with a demanding job and an even more demanding boss. Towards the end of Season 1, Emily is fired for allegedly shaking Pierre’s trust. But the fashion stunt convinces the audience of Fashion Week and helps Emily get her job back. In the season 1 finale, she celebrates her success with Mathieu and Pierre in Gabriel’s restaurant.

In season two, we can expect Emily to continue her adventures in and around Paris. Things could get heated between Emily, Gabriel, and Camille as Emily stands between her love interest and her good friend. So guess what, it’s really confusing. I have a feeling the next season will just bring more triangular drama, although Emily may have the situation a little better under control, Lily Collins (Emily) told the Vogue.

In an interview with Collider from 2020, Camille Razat (Camille) revealed: I think he [Gabriel] got wrong with me [Camille, die Figur] Broke up which is a problem. Which is not cool. And I think he needs to see me face to face and tell me why he’s leaving me. And if he really does leave me, then we understand that we have a problem with each other. With Camille unsatisfied, we can expect the love triangle to continue in season 2.

Also, Emily will have to deal with Mathieu, although it looks like she might be able to connect with Alfie. As a cynic who loves to tease Emily, Alfie could start things with her on a slightly antagonistic note. But it will be interesting to see how things play out between Emily and the dashing Londoner. The prospect of Gabriel staying in Paris to continue his restaurant business is likely to be further explored in Season 2.
