‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba or Kimetsu no Yaiba is an action-adventure dark fantasy anime that tells the story of revenge and self-discovery. The series follows Tanjirou Kamado, an honest, hard-working young adult who takes responsibility for his family after the untimely death of his father. But when his relatives are brutally slaughtered, with the exception of his sister, who is turned into a demon, the protagonist embarks on a journey of revenge.

The action-packed fight against evil that followed has cast a spell over millions of fans around the world. The first season of the anime premiered on April 6, 2019 and ended on May 3, 2020. The series is in season two, and here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming episode.

Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 5 Release Date

‘Demon Slayer’ Season 2 Episode 5, titled ‘Move Forward!’, Will be released on November 14, 2021. It airs at various times on Tokyo MX, GTV, GYT and BS11. Ufotable developed the series, with Haruo Sotozaki leading the directing team and Akira Matsushima responsible for character design. The opening theme Akeboshi (Morning Star) and the ending theme Shirogane (Silver) are both sung by the Japanese singer and lyricist LiSA.

After his father suggests cutting his own throat to return to the real world in episode 4, Tanjirou wonders if he’s making the right decision. However, after talking to himself for some time, he concludes that this is probably the only way to escape and save Nezuko. After cutting his throat, pain overwhelms him for a few moments, but then he wakes up again. In the meantime, Zenitsu and Inosuke have an uphill battle with the sleepless children who were sent by Enmu to destroy their spiritual cores.

Tanjirou looks after Nezuko, who is safe, and after examining his sleeping friends, realizes that the blood demon art has been used on them. Soon he can smell the presence of a dangerous enemy on the Mugen train and leaves the responsibility of waking up his friends to his sister. With the help of his good nose, Tanjirou manages to track down Enmu on the roof of the locomotive. The demon confesses to how he manipulated his victims to dance to his tune and shows no remorse for using people for his twisted ends.

Tanjirou has had enough of Enmus’ hideous acts and immediately takes up the fight against them. The demoness uses her powers to put the protagonist to sleep, but he immediately cuts his throat to return to the real world, showing a remarkable willpower that impresses even his opponent. After a brief fight, Tanjirou cuts Enmu’s throat, but soon learns that he is not dead. The demon has merged with the Mugen train while everyone was lost in their dream world. In episode 5, Tanjiro Enmus will find a real throat and slit her head open to put an end to her reign of terror while his friends fight the demon out of the compartments.
