He also mentioned that they’ll be looking to capitalize on the momentum from Bosch Season 7, which means the spinoff’s premiere isn’t too far off. All in all, we can assume that the Bosch spin-off will be on show sometime in early 2022.

Bosch Season 8 Cast: Who is in it?

Titus Welliver, who embodies the eponymous Harry Bosch, will slip into the role of a detective again in the Bosch spin-off. However, he will no longer work for the Los Angeles Police Department, but rather as a private detective. Madison Lintz, who portrays Harry’s daughter, Maddie Bosch, and Mimi Rogers, who plays civil rights attorney Honey Money Chandler, will also take on bigger roles and will feature prominently in the upcoming series. It remains to be seen if other supporting cast members from Bosch, like Lance Reddick (Irvin Irving), Troy Evans (Detective Johnson), and Jamie Hector (Jerry Edgar), will return for cameos on the new series.

Bosch Season 8 Plot: What Can It Be About?

Bosch Season 7 follows the title character who is involved in investigating the murder of a young girl. Maddie begins helping Honey on a high profile case, but things get out of hand when they cross paths with some very dangerous people. Season 7 ends with a desperate ending: Harry, Maddie and Money are targeted by the same criminals.

The upcoming spin-off will continue to be based on Connelly’s very popular Bosch novels and focus on the 29. In The Wrong Side of Goodbye, Bosch embarks on a mission to track down the alleged heir to a billionaire seventy years ago. We can assume that the new spin-off series will likely pursue some version of that storyline, although much of the story is relocated to the modern day when the series is set. Connelly has also revealed that alongside Harry, Maddie and Money will also be the focus and that the plot will closely link the fates of the three characters.
