‘Blue Lock’ Episode 9 release date, spoilers: Team Z is in dire need of a win over Team V

December 2, 2022

Blue Lock is trending after Japan beat Spain at the World Cup. Therefore, all eyes are on Blue Lock Episode 9, titled The Formula of a Goal, in which the battle between Team Z and Team V continues.

Ego has scheduled a few games as players face the consequences of their cheating. Ego will surely come up with something to help them learn from their mistake in Blue Lock Episode 9, which will decide the future of Team Z.

Team Z must not lose this time. If they do, they will be disqualified, which would mean the end of their careers. There is no denying that Team V has the best players and is unbeaten in all games.

Team V and Isagi continue their meeting as he wants to learn about their ethics and politics. After the cheating incident, he is clearly unhappy with the way the Blue Lock is working.

Instead of getting upset about it, he confronts everyone. Then Ego enters the scene to explain what happened and it could be that in Blue Lock Episode 9 players get knocked out of the game.

Meanwhile, in Blue Lock Episode 8, Team Z was concerned about the upcoming battle against Team V. They knew they had to win to qualify.

Some teammates tried to team up against Kuon but Isagi stopped them as they still needed 11 members to win. Kuon remained unfazed and confident of qualifying as he topped the Blue Lock leaderboard.

He admitted he had become selfish after his previous teammates didn’t support his dream of World Cup victory. Then a flashback began showing Reo as the heir to the Mikage Corporation.

With everything he wanted in hand, he found his life monotonous and boring. Eventually he found the courage and motivation to go against his parents’ wishes and win the World Cup.

He met Nagi and was impressed by his agility and athleticism, so he asked him to play soccer. Ego then gave them some advice, saying that in the game of unpredictability the only thing that can help the team is to overcome the realm of coincidences.

Later, Isagi went onto the field and saw Barou training. Isagi discovered Barou’s secret of how to use his power and accuracy to score during the match.

Everyone was worried but they were determined to win this time. Thanks to Isagi’s spatial awareness, it worked out in Team Z’s favor.

However, everything started to change when Reo and Nagi changed their game strategy. Nagi impressed everyone with his speed and ball control and scored a goal.

You can see what’s next when Blue Lock Episode 9 airs on Saturday, December 3rd.
